What is Shutter Speed?

The amount of time the shutter is open

How Shutter Speed works: 

Slowing down the shutter speed technically allows more light to enter, causing a blur movement. Speeding up the shutter speed, allows less light to enter, causing a freeze movement. 

Exposure Triangle: 

When changing one thing in the exposure triangle, it makes it so you have to change the others as well. You change all of them to create a good photograph.

What is Aperture? 

 Aperture is the size of the opening in the lens that permits light to hit the film/digital sensor.

 How Aperture works: 

Technically on a camera, you have to balance out the shutter speed and f stop to change the lighting to get good aperture. Visually in a photo aperture changes how light and dark the photo is.

Exposure Triangle:      

When one thing in the exposure triangle is altered, everything else changes too.                                              

Photographic Themes

This shooting assignment was a really cool and unique way to use pictures to represent your personality and who you are. Although it was kind of challenging to find pictures to take things of it was fun and creative assignment. 2 of my favorite photos are the one of the bunny and my whole family. I chose the bunny picture for sad because i used to have a bunny, but recently it passed away.
While i was at my friends she let me hold her baby bunnies and it made me sad thinking about my bunny and how i couldn't get another one. I chose the picture of my family for happiness, because my family makes me happy. This picture means a lot because this is one of the few times my whole family gets together since we all live in different areas of the country. This project represent my identity because all these pictures are something i love to do, something i love, or something that is a part or has been a part of my life.

Portrait Session with Kaitlyn Matty

This is Kaitlyn Matty, not Kate or kaitie just Kaitlyn. Ever since she was 10 Kaitlyn has been interested in taking photos. If she could photograph anything in the world, it would be a castle in Germany. She claims to be a very shy and awkward person when it comes to meeting new people. In 1o years she see’s herself becoming a nurse, and helping people. Most often she tends to be at her house with her friends and she mostly is on her phone rather than on the computer, watching TV, or reading a book. One part of pop culture she wishes would go away is overplaying songs on the radio. Procrastination is something a lot of people, including Kaitlyn, have a habit of doing and its something they would like to stop. Her biggest fear is heights which is a reason why if she was to be a super hero and could have any power she would want to be invisible, only to be able to mess around with people. Food is something everybody obviously loves, for the rest of her life if she could only eat and one restaurant she chose Carrabba’s.

15.  Memories		Most of my good memories i have are from bonfires, so i took a picture of one of our bonfires.
